Why smite last hit

The mechanics in Smite are quite different. Pushing towards the tower is always a good thing, and as said, without player interference, the lanes will eventually even out. The game is more about aggressive consistency than detail. Pushing will always give your team the edge.

Obviously, you don't want to focus on last hitting creeps too much in Arena or even Joust but in Conquest, farming and experience advantage is everything.
